Chair Lady of the Board

Bukky is the CEO of 555 Consulting Limited, a firm focused on Human Resource (HR) Management, Strategy, and Development.

She is also the Founder of The Light Family Empowerment Foundation, under which she coordinates ‘Adopt-A-Camp’ and ‘Girl Child Africa’ - assisting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), and promoting girls’ and women’s rights, respectively. She holds a B.Sc degree in Business Administration, Masters in Peace and Security, and currently studying Law. She also has dual Certificates in Social Sector Management and Entrepreneurial Management, from the Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria. She loves swimming and plans to use the sport as a rallying point for fitness and wellbeing for women and girls in Nigeria.


Account manager

Coach Jimmy was born and raised in Nigeria. He has extensive experience in the swimming world as a professional swimmer and coach.

Jimmy is presently a High Performance Coach at DJK CRYSTAL EDGE SWIMMING in Abuja and Founder of SWIM NIGERIA. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration. He is a Level 5 ASCA Certified Coach, member of West Africa Swimming Council (WASC) and an Official of FINA. He is also a Board Member of the FCT Aquatic Association and is billed to become the next Chairman of the Association. Coach Jimmy has over 15 years of successful coaching experience, with the last few years as the Head Coach at DJK.


Board Member

Tunji is a leisure swimmer and an intense fitness buff.

He is a Humanitarian who work with victims of conflict across Africa and supports children and girl child causes. He is the Co-coordinator of Adopt-A-Camp, an organization that works with IDPs in the Northeast of Nigeria. He is also the CEO of 3PL Firm, Cosmopolitan Errands. Tunji was recently recommended for appointment into the FCT Aquatic Association in Abuja, Nigeria, on the strength of his support and interest in the Swimming sport. He presently the Executive Secretary of Swim Nigeria.


Board Member

Paul is a communication graduate who has come to build expertise in Business and Capability Development over the last 15 years in the FMCG industry in Nigeria.

He is a Business Process reformer and human resources trainer in the dairy firm where he presently works. He is a sports aficionado and a caustic football critic. He has a new passion for fitness and swimming, and he is presently one of the major driving force for the adoption and embrace of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #3, Fitness and Wellbeing, by Swim Nigeria. Paul strongly believes Swimming can be a mainstream competitive sport in Nigeria.

Keith is an ardent Sports Lover.

He is a competitive Cyclist and an impressive leisure swimmer. He has had almost 40 years experience working across the globe. About 10 of those years were in Africa. Keith worked as a Consultant in Nigeria between 2011 and 2015. He is committed to ensuring that swimming become a competitive and mainstream sport for school children in Nigeria.

Wale Ojo is a popular Nollywood star.

Born in London, England, Wale started acting at an early age. He became a child star working mainly on drama series and television soaps. He took to the stage as a very young Othello in the east end of London in his late teens. He is well known for his role as Bayo in the comedy television soap Meet the Adebanjos (2012-2014) which won a Nigeria Lite Entertainment Award in 2006 and an Amvca nomination in 2015. His feature film debut was in the movie Rage (1999) in which he played a schizophrenic gangster and a cameo in Guy Ritchie's first short film The Hard Case (1995). He is a great swimmer who also delights in working with kids. He nurses a passion to see swimming elevated to the place of a mainstream sport for young Nigerians and adults alike.
